As part of the research into Organisational Wisdom, the Organisational Wisdom Level Indicator (OWLi) was developed. Based on the Washington University Sentence Completion Test. This is used to identify specific organisational wisdom development activities within executive coaching. It provides unique insight into some of the challenges that executives face with perspective-taking, managing complexity, empathy, and decision-making by assessing their ‘ego development level’ across several domains.


In my executive coaching and leadership development practice, I use the SHL OPQ32 to provide a rigorous, data-driven foundation for behavioural change and professional growth. By analysing 32 distinct personality dimensions, the tool allows us to move beyond surface-level observations to identify the specific drivers of a leader's decision-making, interpersonal style, and emotional resilience. In our sessions, we map these results against core leadership competencies to pinpoint "blind spots," refine strategic influence, and develop the agility required for senior-level complexity. This practical insight ensures our coaching focus is tailored to your natural behavioural style, allowing you to leverage your authentic strengths while consciously managing the traits that may hinder your effectiveness as a leader.

In my work with leaders and teams, I use Everything DiSC as a practical framework to improve communication and emotional intelligence. For leaders, it provides actionable insights into how their style influences others, allowing them to adapt their approach to better motivate and lead. For teams, it creates a "common language" that de-personalizes conflict and helps members understand each other's priorities. As an Accredited Belbin Practitioner, I utilise Belbin Interplace to help teams transform their performance through research-validated behavioural data. Far beyond a simple personality test, this sophisticated tool combines individual Self-Perception with 360-degree Observer feedback to pinpoint a team's collective strengths and identify critical behavioural gaps. By using the nine Belbin Team Roles as a common, de-personalised language, I work with you to optimise recruitment, resolve interpersonal conflict, and ensure the right people are in the right roles to deliver measurable business results.
